Is there any school…..in the old days, those of us here at the radio station, couldn’t get anything done for answering the phone and responding to that very question; is there school today.

With new technology, most parents know the night before if school is cancelled as they are contacted by phone through an automated system.

Here at the radio station, our website; wrul.com and facebook are used to pass along any information concerning closings and cancellations.

But that to answer that question; is there school today. NO.

Area students can continue their long weekend this morning as all area schools have called off class for the day. That includes, Carmi White County, Norris City Omaha Enfield, Grayville, Hamilton County, Gallatin County, Pope and Saline County schools.

Local WADI Head Start in Saline, Gallatin, White and Hamilton Counties are closed, as is WOVSED.
