The City of Carmi has scheduled a power outage for Tuesday morning beginning at 8am. The outage will include the 1300 block of Oak Street, West block of Gilpin Street, all of Woodlawn Ave., and the east side of Lexington Ave. Authorities say the outage should last for about 2 hours for those residing/working at locations on Oak Street and Gilpin Street. You can expect the outage to last a bit longer, 4-5 hours on Lexington Ave. and Woodlawn Ave. The outage is scheduled for crews to change out a power pole in the area.
