NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT PLAN
TO: RESIDENT(S) AT ANY RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS LOCATED WITHIN 750 FEET OF THE BOUNDARIES OF A PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN as follows:
- The Mayor and City Council of the City of Carmi, White County, Illinois (the “Municipality”) have determined to undertake preliminary proceedings in connection with the proposed approval of a redevelopment plan entitled “Carmi TIF IIRedevelopment Planand Project” (the “Redevelopment Plan”), establishment of a redevelopment project area to be known as the “Carmi TIF II Redevelopment Project Area” (a/k/a the “Redevelopment Project Area No. 2”, the “Redevelopment Project Area”) and adoption of tax increment financing therefor under and pursuant to the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act (65 ILCS 5/11-74.4-1 etseq.), as supplemented and amended (the “Act”), and has set 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at the City Hall, 225 E Main St, Carmi, Illinois as the time, date and place of a public hearing to be held thereon.
- A copy of the proposed Redevelopment Plan, which includes in reasonable detail the basis for the eligibility of the Redevelopment Project Area under the Act and a description of the related redevelopment projects, is on file in the office of City Clerk of the Municipality and is available for public inspection. The name, address, telephone and fax numbers and e-mail address of the person to contact if you desire to obtain a copy of the proposed Redevelopment Plan or any other information related to the Redevelopment Plan or the Redevelopment Project Area is as follows:
