Christmas Trivia at Rotary Meeting
The Carmi Rotary club had a Christmas themed meeting on Thursday, as Pastor Randy Douglass presented the Rotarians with some Christmas trivia. The 25 questions ranged from fairly easy to nearly impossible, and a few of the members did surprisingly well, while others did surprisingly bad.
In club business, a motion was made, seconded and approved to donate one hundred dollars to the Baptist Children’s Home for Christmas.
In other business, Sherri Logan won the 50/50 raffle but failed to claim the day’s cash prize. Andy Williams was named the day’s phantom.
The Carmi Rotary club meets every Thursday at noon at the First United Methodist Church on Main Street in Carmi. Anyone wishing to learn more about this civic organization is welcome to attend a meeting or speak with any Carmi Rotarian
