A Mattoon man being held by Tennessee authorities has now been charged with vehicular theft in Edwards County after a late May crime spree. 
31 year old Brandon T Robinson was charged in Edwards County Court on Thursday by States Attorney Mike Valentine with one count of unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle. Robinson is accused of stealing a 2007 Chevrolet pickup from a farm on May 31st.
Robinson is also accused of the same crime in Saline County, but formal charges have not been filed there as of this report. He is currently lodged in the Bedford County, Tennessee Jail, on charges he stole a horse and two vehicles there. At the time of his arrest, he was wanted on a warrant from Coles County.
