The White County Sheriff’s Department received a stolen bike report on Wednesday. Kristen Ott reported that sometime Tuesday, her son’s 20 inch Kent Ambush bicycle was taken from her yard on Shipley Street. The bike is blue and is registered with the Carmi Police Department.
Wednesday afternoon, Sheriff’s deputies arrested 35 year old Alyssa Slankard of Carmi on two White County warrants for theft at an apartment in Crossville. Slankard was taken into custody just after 1:30 pm and transported to the White County Jail. She is being held on a combined bond amount of $5150.
