
A Carmi woman is out on pre-trial release following her arrest just before 8pm Thursday. Carmi Police say they pulled 39-year-old Amanda Ball of Olive Street over on 10th Street due to operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration due to noninsurance. Additionally, the was arrested for Unlawful Display of Registration and No Valid Driver’s License. The report indicates the registration Ball attempted to utilize was for a red Ford and not the white Mercury Mariner she was driving. Ball also received citations for Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Operation of a Motor Vehicle while Registration Suspended for Mandatory Insurance. Ball was booked and released with a notice to appear just before 9:30pm.
