Following a traffic accident Sunday morning on Stewart Street, 37 year old Kristal McWhirter was arrested by the Carmi Police Department for driving on a suspended license, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, and operation of a vehicle with an expired registration. McWhirter was taken to the White County Jail, and was later released after posting a $150 bond.
