Carmi White County Ladies Fall to Harrisbug
It was a battle of the Lady Bulldogs Wednesday night in a game broadcast on our sister station; WRUL 97.3 FM, the Carmi White County Ladies fell to Harrisburg 55 to 29.
The Carmi gals were led by Julia smith with 9 points. Mayci Edwards added 8, with six coming from Elli Gray. Sydney Lucas added 4 points with Jasmine Smith scoring two points for the ladies.
The local got a slow start, only scoring three points in the first quarter, seven in the second, six in the third and 13 in the fourth.
The Harrisburg ladies were led by Rider and Davis with 13 points each. Harrisburg outscored the Carmi ladies; 13 in the first quarter, 14 at the half, and 10 and 18 in the third and final quarters, respectively.
The carmi Ladies will be back in action Saturday night at the Harrisburg tournament as they take on Anna Jonesboro.. That game can be heard on our sister station; WRUL 97.3 FM…Jason Craig will be on the air just before game time at 6.
