Carmi School Board Approves New Hires

Carmi White County School Board Approves Hires

 

The Carmi White County School Board approved several hires during a closed session Monday night.

The board approved the employment of Becky Clayton as the Brownsville Attendance Center secretary for the 2018-2019 school year. Clayton fills a vacancy created by the resignation of Gail Dusch.

Martha Goin was approved as a Jefferson Attendance Center building volunteer.

Jonathan Goemat was reassigned as the Sixth grade boys basketball coach for this school year to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Eric Dixon.

Tomas Brandt was employed as the fifth grade boys basketball coach, replacing Goemat.

Ariana Watts was employed as the assistanct junior high school volleyball coach to fill a vacancy created by Brianna Douthitt’s resignation.

 

The board also approved an increase in salaries for non-certified employees not represented by a union.
Amy Atteberry, Dr. Amy Dixon, Bart king, Jarrod Newell, all serving in administrative duties will receive a two percent increase in their salaries. That was also approved in the closed door session Monday evening.
