The Carmi Rotary club held their Fall trivia contest on Saturday, November 2nd, and another fun night was on hand for everyone.
This is one of the Rotary club’s biggest fundraising events, and this year’s entry saw another big night for the local club. Fourteen teams were there to compete to the end, and as always, a large crowd of spectators was also there to try their luck with the night’s questions.
There were four rounds of ten questions each, and the questions got harder each round, and the points for each correct answer went up accordingly. As has happened several times in year’s past, this paid off for the winning team, who came from behind to win it in the final round.
The winning team, the Tri-County Terrors, won again (not sure how many times they’ve claimed the title). The Terrors are made up of: Lee Lane, Mike Erwin, Jeff Skaggs, and Sean Dulaney.
Taking second place, the Pio Polecats: Mike Karcher, Scott Kohts, Aaron Rawls, and Eric Rawls.
Capturing third place, the Norman Bates Family: Joe Kaufman, Randy Kaufman, Terry Aud, and Andy Sadler.
The next Rotary trivia night will be this spring on the night the time changes – March 7th.
