On Saturday night, 47 year old Mark Hall of Carmi was taken into custody by Carmi Police at 8:45pm on a White County warrant for failure to appear. Hall was arrested at his home on Oak Street and is being held at the White County Jail on a $500 bond.
Sunday afternoon, Carmi police took 36 year old Kristal McWhirter and 31 year old Timothy McWhirter into custody following a domestic disturbance at their residence on Stewart Street. Both have been charged with domestic battery and are being held at the White County Jail pending a court hearing.
