Carmi Police make two arrests Thursday

Carmi Police were called to the Walmart parking lot Thursday night in reference to a dog left in a vehicle for over 30 minutes.  The owner, 25 year old Cory O’Donnell of McLeansboro was paged to meet the officer at his vehicle.  A records check showed that O’Donnell was wanted on a Hamilton County warrant and was he was arrested at the scene.  O’Donnell was transported to the White County Jail, and was later released after posting a $100 bond.  The officer was able to enter the unlocked truck and roll the window down.

Just before 9pm Thursday, 20 year old Samantha Mosley of Carmi surrendered at the Carmi Police Department on a White County warrant for retail theft.  Mosley was processed at the Jail, and was later released after posting a $150 bond.
