A 41-year-old Carmi man was arrested on Wednesday after a report was called into the Carmi Police Department for Domestic Battery.
Once police arrived at the scene, the victim reported that Larry Cox III threw items at her and hit her with said items; the victim also stated that Cox had choked her, with police officers noticing a visible injury on the victim’s neck.
Cox was detained for Aggravated Domestic Battery.
Early Thursday morning, Charles Winfrey was arrested on a traffic stop for Driving While License Suspended. Winfrey was later released on a Notice to Appear citation and given a court date for January 21st.
On December 18th, Haley Couture was arrested for Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle after a traffic stop for Improper Lighting. She was later released on a Notice to Appear.
