Thursday afternoon, Carmi Police arrested 20 year old Nicholas Page on a Kentucky warrant for escape. Page was taken into custody following a traffic stop on Oak Street at 2:19 pm and was transported to the White County Jail where he is being held pending extradition.
26 year old Ashley Bebout of Carmi was arrested on Thursday afternoon on a White County warrant for burglary, theft with a prior conviction, and possession of another’s credit card. Bebout was seen in her yard on 11th Street and was taken into custody at 2:23 pm. Bebout was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after a cannabis pipe was found in her possession. She is being held at the White County Jail on a $5000 bond.
Early Friday morning, Carmi Police responded to a 911 call to the Carmi Dam. At 2:45 am, officers arrested 37 year old Russell Wardrip of Fairfield on charges of domestic battery and criminal damage to property. He is being held without bail at the White County Jail pending a court hearing.
23 year old Josette St. John of Carmi was arrested at her residence Sunday evening on a White County warrant for trespassing. St. John was taken into custody at her residence on 2nd Street at 5:15 pm and was released from the White County Jail after posting a $150 bond.
20 year old Jordan Dotson of Carmi was arrested Sunday morning by Carmi Police on charges of criminal trespass, battery, assault, and disorderly conduct. Dotson was taken into custody at 10:42 am at a residence on Stewart Street. He was also cited for possession of less than 10 grams of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held without bond pending a court hearing.
Sunday night, an employee at Huck’s flagged down a Carmi Police officer and reported two women were in the bathroom drinking beer. 34 year old Starlett Dunn of Fairfield was arrested for retail theft after two 24 ounce cans were found in her coat pockets. Dunn was transported to the White County Jail and is being held in lieu of a $150 bond.
