Carmi Police arrested 30 year old Caitlin Tyner of Carmi on Friday morning on a White County escape warrant. An officer saw Tyner get into a pickup on 4th Street and pulled the truck over at the intersection of 3rd and Sycamore Streets at 9:10 am.
Tyner is being held at the White County Jail without bail pending a court hearing.
Saturday afternoon, 20 year old Matthew Lemond was arrested by Carmi Police on charges of domestic battery, criminal damage to property, and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Lemond was taken into custody at 1:59 pm and transported to the White County Jail, where he is being held without bail pending a court appearance.
Saturday night, Carmi Police arrested a 16 year old male juvenile for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. The arrest was made in the Brown’s Feed and Chemical parking lot at 10 pm.
44 year old Brian Dartt of Rising Sun turned himself into Carmi Police Sunday afternoon on White County warrants for violating an order of protection and theft under $500. Dartt was transferred to the custody of White County Jail staff and is being held in lieu of a $2000 bond.
