Carmi Police arrested 31 year old Tiffany Williford of Carmi at her residence Monday afternoon on a Madison County warrant. Williford was taken into custody just before 2 pm and transported to the White County Jail, where she was held pending transfer to Madison County.
At 6:18 pm Joshua Newman of Carmi surrendered at the Carmi Police Department on a White County warrant for failure to register as a sex offender. Newman was processed at the Jail and was released after posting a $2500 bond.
59 year old Gary Harris of McLeansboro was arrested by Carmi Police following a traffic stop on Oak Street just before 8 pm. Harris was wanted on a Wayne County warrant for failure to appear. Harris was booked at the White County Jail and then transported to Wayne County.
29 year old Kiefer Best of Norris City surrendered at the Carmi Police Department Monday night at 10:20 pm on one White County warrant and two warrants from Edwards County. Best was transferred to the White County Jail, and was later released after posting a combined bond amount of $3875.
