Carmi Police Investigating Incidents at Huck’s
Carmi Police are investigating two separate incidents that occurred at Huck’s on Oak Street, the first this past Thursday, the second occurring Sunday evening.
Patricia Hall of Harrisburg reported someone pumped fuel and left without paying for the fuel or any other items after coming into the store. That report was filed shortly after 1 Thursday afternoon and remains under investigation.
Sunday evening just before 6, Michelle D. McGuire of Enfield told police she had dropped her wallet in the Huck’s parking lot and apparently someone picked it up and fled the scene, before McGuire could return to look for the wallet. The incident report noted the wallet contained $75 cash, as well as McGuire’s driver’s license and other important documents including credit cards.
