On Friday night, 33 year old Dustin Accord surrendered himself to Carmi Police at the Department office to answer a White County warrant for Criminal Trespass to real property. Accord was processed just before 10:30pm, and released after posting a $150 bond.
Carmi officers took a theft report from Amy Roedder on Saturday at 3:43pm. Roedder told police that someone had stolen her daughter’s bracelet from Carmi White County High School.
Just before midnight on Saturday, Heather Swanner reported that someone tried to break into her car parked at her residence on West Drive. As a result of the attempted break-in, there was damage to the front driver’s side door and the interior dome light would not turn off.
