30 year old Caitlin Williams of Carmi surrendered at the Carmi Police Department Friday night on a White County warrant for theft under $500. Williams was taken into custody at 11:08 pm and was later released after posting a $150 bond.
Sunday afternoon, Carmi Police received a call that 43 year old Sherry Shelton of Carmi was at the Little Giant Grocery store. Shelton was wanted on a White County warrant for failure to appear on a retail theft charge. Shelton was arrested in the store, and transported to the White County Jail, and was later released after posting a $500 bond.
