Carmi Police made two separate warrant arrests on Wednesday.
32 year old Richard Ott of Carmi was taken into custody at 2:32 pm after being seen riding a bike in the 700 block of Sixth Street. Ott was wanted on a White County warrant for possession of methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance. He is being held at the White County Jail in lieu of a $2000 bond.
At 8:20 pm, Carmi Police arrested 53 year old Robert Shaffer of Carmi following a traffic stop on Fairground Road. Shaffer was wanted on a White County warrant for driving while license revoked between 4-9 times. He is also being held at the White County Jail on a $2000 bond.
