Carmi Police arrested 47 year old Donald Long of Enfield following a traffic stop Tuesday morning. Long was pulled over at 11:49 am on Plum Street and was taken into custody on a White County warrant for unlawful possession of another’s debit card and theft. Long was transported to the White County Jail and is being held pending the posting of bond.
52 year old Kevin Pearson of Carmi was arrested Tuesday evening by Carmi Police following a traffic stop at Eckerle Park. Pearson was taken into custody at 6:37 pm on a Crawford County warrant for failure to appear and was also found to be driving on a suspended license. Pearson was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and illegal transportation of alcohol. Pearson is being held at the White County Jail pending posting of bond.
