Carmi Police obtained a search warrant Monday night for a residence at 817 4th Street and made three arrests as a result. 28 year old Brandon Keown, 27 year old Samee Gunther, and 32 year old Michael Doogan were all taken into custody just after 9 pm.
Keown was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful use of weapons by a felon.
Gunther was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of ammunition without a valid FOID card.
Doogan was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. All three are being held at the White County Jail without bond pending an initial court hearing.
Monday afternoon, Carmi Police arrested 44 year old Melissa Talley of Carmi following a traffic stop on Elm Street for unlawful display of vehicle license plate. Talley was transported to the White County Jail and later released after posting a $150 bond.
Carmi Police also took two theft reports on Monday. Noal Brown reported cash stolen from his truck while parked at his residence that morning, and Virginia Midkiff reported a post and some wire stolen from her yard.
