The Carmi Police Department arrested a Norris City man early Thursday morning following a traffic stop.
38 year old Kevin Hosman was stopped at 1:12 am at the intersection of Route 1 and County Road 1350 North. Hosman was found to be driving on a revoked license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. During a search, Hosman was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine.
Hosman was transported to the White County Jail, and is being held without bail pending a court appearance.
At 6:02 pm Wednesday, Donna Denson reported to Carmi Police that while her vehicle was parked at her residence on Fackney Street, someone stole a Costo camouflage car seat from the backseat as well as a battery operated lantern.
