Carmi Police arrested 30 year old James Tyner of Enfield on Wednesday morning for violating an order of protection. Tyner was taken into custody at the Carmi American Legion just after 9 am and was transported to the White County Jail. He is being held pending a court hearing.
49 year old Tammy Yokel of Grayville was arrested at the Probation office by Carmi Police Wednesday afternoon on a White County warrant for retail theft. Yokel was taken into custody just before 3 pm and transported to the White County Jail. She was later released after posting a $150 bond.
