In White County Court on Thursday, 25 year old Nathan A Johnson was sentenced to three years in Illinois Department of Corrections custody by Judge Michael Valentine on a charge of domestic battery. 
According to States Attorney Denton Aud, Johnson will also be under mandatory supervised release for four years after incarceration and was ordered to pay all fines, fees, costs and assessments.
Johnson was arrested on January 14th by the Carmi Police Department.
