A Carmi man was sentenced to four years in prison on Monday in White County Court according to States Attorney Denton Aud.
37 year old Edward Ticer received a four year sentence on one count of possession of a weapon by a felon, and four years on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. The two sentences will run concurrently, and Ticer will be under mandatory supervised release for one year following incarceration.
Ticer was arrested by the Carmi Police Department and was represented by Public Defender Brian Shinkle. Judge T. Scott Webb presided over the case.
