37 year old Charles E. Pugh of Carmi is behind bars in the White County Jail on a charge of Distribution of Child Pornography. Tuesday morning Carmi Police and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force executed a search warrant at 726 Renshaw Avenue, Apartment #11 following a lengthy investigation into Child Pornography Distribution. As a result, numerous electronic items were taken into evidence for forensic processing. Pugh was released into the custody of City County Jail Officers without incident. The investigation is on-going. Pugh had a First Appearance in White County Court this (Wednesday) morning.
