Two individuals were sentenced in Hamilton County Court Thursday according to States Attorney Justin Hood.
29 year old Phyllis Shoulder of Harrisburg was sentenced to 2 years in Department of Corrections custody after pleading guilty to one count of possession of methamphetamine. Shoulder will be under one year of mandatory supervised release following incarceration. The McLeansboro Police Department made the arrest and handled the investigation.
37 year old Eric Hall of Carmi entered guilty pleas on three charges that will send him to prison for the next decade. Hall received a 10 year sentence on a charge of residential burglary, a seven year sentence for a charge of possession of a stolen vehicle, and five years on a charge of theft. Hall will be under court supervision for a two year period following incarceration. The charges stem from February 11th, when Hall was arrested by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department after he was accused of stealing and crashing two different vehicles as well as breaking into and damaging a rural Hamilton County property.
