The Carmi Public Library would like to let the public know of a Back to Books Grant they have been awarded by the state.
Funding for this grant was awarded by the Illinois State Library, a Department of the Office of Secretary of State, using funds provided by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services, under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act.
The library applied for this grant for the specific purchase of large print books. The selection of these books has been started by the staff and when they are received and ready for check-out the public will be notified.
