Carmi Elks Loge #1652 is sponsoring a free Veterans Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, February 1st, from 5-8 PM at 217 E. Cherry Street in Carmi. All White County veterans and currently serving military personnel are invited to attend and may bring a guest if they wish. In order to better prepare for the dinner, the Elks Lodge is requesting an RSVP by Saturday, January 25th, from any vetran/military personnel planning to attend. That can be done by calling the Lodge at 618-382-4687, leaving a clear message if there’s no answer. They would like to know the person’s name, the name of the guest (if applicable), and a phone number if a return call is desired.
