Carmi Electric Bills Will Look Different
Carmi Mayor Jeff Pollard announced this week, local residents will see a change in their electric bills coming out this month.
The mayor said the bills will now be a paper-type bill, doing away with the post card type bills that Carmi residents have been receiving for a number of years.
Pollard said he wanted to make sure area residents were aware of the change in the bill form, as he didn’t want folks to think the new bills arriving in an envelope were something else, such as a survey. He urged everyone to be sure to open correspondence from the city, as it will likely be your electric bill.
