The Carmi City Council will meet tonight at 5:30 PM in City Council Chambers. On the agenda, the appointment of Chris Marsh to the Board of Fire and Police Commission for a term beginning January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2022, the appointment of Eric Rahlf’s and Dee Ann Maurer to the Carmi Public Library Board for a three year terms beginning January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2023, and a presentation by David Andreas and Jeremy Billington on Symetra Stop Loss Insurance for 2020. Council will also approve financial reports and vendor invoices for the City of Carmi Light and Water Departments and will hear reports from Mayor Pollard and Standing Committees. There will be a Closed session to discuss property issues with possible action to follow.
