The man accused of the stabbing attack in McLeansboro that sent one victim to an Evansville hospital on Tuesday has made his first appearance in Hamilton County Court.
37 year old Duane Carlson was charged with Home Invasion, Aggravated Battery, Aggravated Battery with a weapon, and being a felon in possession of a weapon. Authorities say that Carlson attacked 34 year old Thomas Garrison and 34 year old Mitzi Willis at a home on South Pearl Street. Garrison had to taken to Deaconness Hospital by helicopter as a result of his injuries.
Carlson is being held at the White County Jail. His bond has been set at $150,000.
