Baseball Team Finishes Year, Softball Gals Advance
A trip to Albion ended the season for the Carmi White County Bulldog baseball team Monday as the locals lost to the Lions; 11 to 7.
That game was broadcast on our sister station; WRUL 97.3 FM.
Blazier took the loss on the mound for the Bulldogs. Scoring for the “Dawgs” were Blazier with two runs; Rankin, Mahon, Fulkerson, York, and Berkshivlli all scored in Monday’s game.
The Lady Bulldogs won their first game of the regionals, beating Fairfield 8 to 2. They now advance in regional play to meet Edwards County Wednesday afternoon.
And Jason and Chris will be on the air around 4:15 Wednesday afternoon as the Lady Bulldogs take on Edwards County in regional play, after defeating Fairfield 8 to 2 Monday afternoon.
