Bulldogs Advance to Regional Championship
The Carmi White County Bulldogs put Eldorado away Wednesday night in regional action, defeating the Eagles; 57 to 41.
That means Carmi White County advances to the Regional Championship Friday night against the Fairfield Mules, the team expected to win the Black Diamond East Conference.
Following last night’s game, Jason Craig and Chris Lucas wrapped up the action. Craig ran down the scores for both teams pointing out Mahon and Phelps once again led the locals to victory.
They will be on the air for the regional championship game Friday night shortly before game time, which is 7 p.m. That game will be carried on our sister station; WRUL 97.3 FM and online at wrul.com
By the way, the season ended for the Norris City Fighting Cardinals Wednesday night as they lost in regional play to Woodlawn; 46 to 28.
