MCLEANSBORO CITY COUNCIL
Council tabled the renewal of the intergovernmental agreement with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office for central dispatch until next month’s meeting, so further discussion could take place. Also tabled was action on the water tower project and purchasing an auger truck for the electric department.
Approved was the purchase of three parcels of land for the Jackson Street TIF development project at a cost of approximately $30,000.
A TIF reimbursement request of $1,738.89 by Bill Wuebbels Repair and Sales for a property located at 505 West Market Street was approved.
Council also approved the $6,000 semi-annual contractual payment to Sam Wilson for I.T. Support.
Robert Crowe was appointed as director of the DARE program for all Unit 10 schools.
The city will advertise for bids on concessions for the city pool for the 2019 season.
A trailer was removed on Rowan Drive.
They approved $1,675 for the purchase of the Mullenbine property. among three others previously mentioned.
A 27 minute executive session was held to discuss specific employees and no action was taken.
The meeting adjourned at 5:35 PM.
