Brand Sentenced to Prison
A Carmi man was sentenced to prison in White County Circuit Court Wedndesday.
White County State’s Attorney Denton Aud reported Eric F. Brand, 38 of Carmi was sentenced to four years in an Illinois Department of Corrections facility on a charge of unlawful use of property, a Class 2 felony.
Brand will also have to serve two years mandatory supervised release after his incarceration ends.
Aud prosecuted the case.
Brand was represented by Public Defender Brian Shinkle.
Judge T. Scott Webb was the presiding judge.
