Fans of an honest, real look at modern motherhood are raving about local author Cassie Pigg’s new book “Mommy’s Got a Tramp Stamp”. And you’ll have an opportunity to meet the author and have your copy of the book signed on Thursday afternoon from 4pm – 7pm at the Carmi Public Library.
On amazon, the new book has a current rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars with readers saying it’s a “great read”, and “absolutely amazing”, while being praised for it’s “raw honesty” and calling it “informative with humor” and “comical and descriptive”. Pigg says she wanted to write the book to share her “disaster after recovering from all the wonders motherhood has to offer.” In particular, Pigg gets honest and visceral about her personal experience with “severe postpartum anxiety”.
In addition to the book, available in paperback or via e-reader, Cassie has launched a website and an app. You can learn more at www.therealmomstuff.com and download the app on Android or iOS devices by searching for Mom Stuff.
The Carmi Public Library is located at the corner of West Main Street and Slocumb in Carmi. Pigg will be available to meet with the public and book signing from 4pm – 7pm.
