Baseball and Softball On Schedule
The season is just about over for Carmi White County High School softball and baseball team.
Both teams will wrap up regular season play this week and will begin post season play as both the boys and girls will start regional action Monday.
But, there are still a couple games in the regular season.
Today, (Wed), the baseball and softball teams will be playing. The Lady Dogs will take on Mt Vernon in softball action, as the baseball team faces Herrin. The ladies are back in action Thursday and will play Flora. That was supposed to have ended regular season play, but due to the many missed and rescheduled games this spring because of the weather, the Lady Dogs will wrap up the season with West Frankfort on Friday.
The softball team will face Fairfield Monday in the opening rounds of the regionals.
The baseball team will wrap up the regular season with a game against Crab Orchard Friday. The boys open against Edwards County on Monday.
