Anniversary Celebration Set for Carmi Taekwonda
The Carmi Taekwonda Center will be its 15th year anniversary Saturday, Jan. 19 with an Open House at the center, located at 106 East Main Street.
The special event, running from 11 that morning until about 1 will include trial classes, free refreshments and prize drawings. The day will conclude with a Board Break-A-Thon fundraiser.
Money from the Break a thon will benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
Students from Carmi Taekwonda will be demonstrating their skills in an effort to raise funding for St. Judes.
Local residents, and or businesses that would like to help out, can donate to the Break-a-Thon, with all donations going to St. Jude’s.
