A Visit to Jail Results in Arrest
The White County Sheriff’s Department arrested a former Edwards County resident, now residing in Carmi during a visit to the City County Jail in Carmi.
According to the incident report, Eric Franklin Brand, 38, of 817 North Fourth Street, was arrested after a Deputy Sheriff noticed Brand was wanted on an Edwards County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of aggravated battery of a child, domestic battery and unlawful restraint.
Brand was arrested about 6:30 Tuesday night and remained in custody early this (wed) morning.
