The White County Farm Bureau is pleased to offer White County 4-Hers the opportunity to apply for a Farm Bureau 4-H Project Grant. A total of $1,000 in grants are being offered for 2017.
The goal of this program is to encourage young 4-Hers to begin new projects by eliminating potential cost burdens they may have; as well as encourage new individuals to become active in the White County 4-H program.
Individual grants will range from $25 to $150 per 4-Her. Applicants must be between the ages of 8 and 14, and currently enrolled in the project that they are applying for. Applications must be completed by the 4-Her, and signed off by a parent/guardian and the 4-H Club Leader. Not all project supplies are eligible for the grant, and not all applications will be funded.
Applications are available through the White County Extension office, the White County Farm Bureau office, or they can be downloaded at www.whitecfb.com. Applications are due March 1, 2017.
