Mcleansboro Council Tuesday night
The McLeansboro City Council will meet in regular session Tuesday evening at 6p.m. at City hall with a full agenda to deal with.
The meeting will include discussion and possible action on changing the management plan for Rogers-DeWitt Park, as well as discussion and possible action on closing the public toilets in the city parks for the winter.
The McLeansboro council will also discuss the purchase of lease of an auger truck for the Electric Department along with the possible sale of a surplus property, including a pickup truck that had been used by the parks and plant department.
Christmas is also on the agenda, as the council will be asked about closing certain roads for the annual City Christmas Parade, set for Friday, Dec. 7 at 6 p.m. The theme of this year’s parade in McLeansboro is Christmas Candyland.
Other matters before the council are routine matters, including reports and paying the bills.
