Craft Fair in the Park

Regular visitors and campers at Harmonie State Park, between New Harmony and MT. Vernon, Ind. will have a lot to do this Saturday, Sept. 22 at the annual Craft Fair in the Park will be held.

The day long fair, running from 9 that morning until 5 will feature a number of craft vendors and Pioneer Demonstrations, including cooking, candles and butter-making.

There will be inflatables and a climbing wall. There will be archery target shooting for both adults and children. Live snakes and a petting zoo  will be on site. Fire truck rides will be available for a small fee. Concessions will be providing food and there will be kettle bean soup and cornbread served at lunchtime.

Organizers invited everyone to come out explaining the day will be “good family fun.”

Entrance to the park will be free as it is National Lands day (Saturday only). The fair is sponsored by the Friends of Harmonie State Park.
