Petitions Available for Spring Elections
Today is the first day interested candidates may pick up petitions for municipal offices. It is also the day persons interested in running for area school boards may pick up petitions.
Locally, the Carmi White County School Board will have four members up for election this coming spring. NCOE will have three members and Grayville Unit 1 has four members up for election.
Those interested in school boards may pick up their petitions at the County Clerk’s Office in the White County Courthouse.
The spring elections will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2019 and will also include township elections as well as the school board and city/town elections.
