Carmi Municipal Elections
It’s less than 50 days to the mid-term election, but already attention is turning to next spring’s municipal elections.
Those interested in running for Carmi City Council and other municipal elections may pick up petitions beginning Tuesday, Sept. 18.
Locally, there are four aldermen up for re-election. They are Jeremy Courson of Ward 1; Mike Knight of Ward 2, Mark Blake of Ward 3 and Lance Yearby of Ward 4.
At this time, it is not clear if they will seek re-election.
