Wabash Christian to Host Veteran’s Seminar
Wartime veterans or their surviving spouse may be entitled to a monthly income, ranging from $1100 to $2100 a month to help pay for senior care.
That will be the topic of a Veteran’s Seminar and free workshop set for Monday, Sept. 17 at Wabash Christian Supportive Living at 523 Abelson Drive, here in Carmi. There will be two sessions. The first at 2 p.m., with a second to follow at 6, for those who can’t attend the earlier meeting. Refreshments will be served.
If one is eligible for the assistance it will be paid for by the Department of Veteran’s Affairs.
