A Carmi woman was jailed on Friday morning after Carmi Police stopped her riding a bicycle on Fairground Road. 35 year old Starlett Dunn of Maple Street was stopped just before 9:30 Friday and arrested on a felony retail theft warrant. Bond was set at $2,000.
25 year old Jonathan Heern is out on bond after his arrest early Sunday morning. Carmi Police report Heern was spotted driving on Oak Street around a quarter after 1am on Oak Street. The officer that pulled Heern over knew he was driving with a suspended license and initiated the traffic stop leading to his arrest. Heern bonded out about 3 hours later.
A Crossville woman turned herself in to Carmi authorities at 8:45 Sunday night. 35 year old Amber Newman arrived at the police department on a warrant. She bonded out later to $150. Court records indicate she’s due in court September 13th for a restitution hearing after pleading guilty to criminal damage to property.
