Sixth Day Figures have been released by the Unit 5 School District. Enrollment is at 1,345 for the district this year. That’s an increase of 3 students from last year. Since the district began keeping 6th day enrollment figures in 2006, the largest enrollment was in 2013 with 1,420 students. The smallest number was last year’s 1,342. Carmi White County reports 685 girls to 671 boys. The breakdown is 817 elementary students, 187 Jr High children and 353 high schoolers. Sixth Grade boasts the largest individual class size with 107 students, 14 more than the next highest class total.
